Columbus wraps up its month-long ArtsFest celebration this Sunday with one of the city’s most beloved outdoor events. Arts in the Park returns to Lakebottom Park on Sunday, April 26, from noon to 5:00 p.m. — and if last year is any indication, it is going to be a big one.
The 2025 revival drew more than 3,000 attendees to the Cherokee Avenue greenspace, and organizers are expecting another strong turnout for 2026. The event is free and open to the public.
What to Expect
Arts in the Park is a full afternoon of music, creativity, food, and community. The Band Shelter will host live music and performances throughout the day, while the Midtown Red Frame Stage is dedicated to children’s entertainment — making it a great outing for families.
Art vendors will be set up across the park selling original work, handmade goods, and one-of-a-kind pieces from local and regional artists. Food trucks from Streetfood Saturdays will be on hand, and a student art exhibition along with a College of the Arts tent will showcase the next generation of Columbus creative talent.
Nonprofit arts organizations will also be present with interactive activities, giving attendees a chance to engage with the full depth of Columbus’s arts community in one afternoon.
The Grand Finale of ArtsFest
Arts in the Park serves as the closing event of ArtsFest, a community-wide celebration spanning more than 60 events across 30+ organizations throughout April. The Arts Alliance of Columbus and its nonprofit partners have spent the month spotlighting the city’s creative community — and Sunday’s gathering at Lakebottom Park is their signature sendoff.
